codepen || jsfiddle || jsbin
I like CodePen for similar reasons Gray has mentioned. However, I prefer a light UI that Dabblet offers. If only they would combine.

lol no problem
Talk to the author of the theme and then come back to let us know what he/she says. Otherwise, just pay for it. Seriously. Why are you refusing to purchase the theme?

Double Titiles in Wordpress
There's a thread on here that I believe I posted a while back that gives a solution to this. Try searching for it.

Learning about typography on the web
why should we care - @JoshWhite That just might be my opening line for one of my articles. Really interesting perspective, Josh. Thanks for chiming in. I'll leave it at this for now: One of the reasons as to why we should care is that ove…

Why Can't We All Just Work Together on Themes!?
It's the designers that pass themes off as original work because they literally don't have the chops to do anything else that grinds my gears - @joshwhite Exactly who I was referring to. I apologize if that wasn't clear.
-
lol no problem
I agree with both, @traq and @crocodillon. @lifeiwonder If the author of the theme wanted you to be able to change the credits, he would have made it much simpler. The easiest and proper way to edit that content is to contact this person and explai…

@Hompimpa Whether this depends on the file size, the operating system or the font shape... Letterforms and the OS do take effect on legibility for text type but also "Delta Hinting" or "TrueType hinting" help with the rende…

Review and Critique my Website
@jimbob Your site is a bit Web 2.0 in terms of some of the color choices (specifically gradients) along with a few other things. Unfortunately that may not have been clear in the above sarcastic comments.

Encrypted code base64 Problem [Closed]
I would vote to close this discussion as the user is clearly trying to find a loophole in breaking the EULA.

Why Can't We All Just Work Together on Themes!?
It might be better for you to explain what you mean by "themes". Are you talking about a framework for other designers to build themes from it? When people say themes, I think of these: http://themeforest.net/category/wordpress. And while…

Why Can't We All Just Work Together on Themes!?
I think themes are great to showcase your talent but to use them for real purposes might not be the best idea.

Learning about typography on the web
I was supposed to co-write an article with Jessica Hische on the topic of Google webfonts but I opted out due to a lack of time. I do plan to do one myself on this service but now I'm thinking I'd like to get her perspective on it as well.…

@kara801 Were you a freelancer that was contracted by this agency OR were you an actual employee? Can you answer that? To resign, I'm betting you were an employee.

Need to track no of users visiting the site ?
I do the same on youtube. I also read comments almost all of the time to determine the likelihood if it's genuine. But, without knowing what this person is using the view counter for it's hard to say whether it should be displayed or not.

portfolio etiquette
@AlenAbdula That's not always the case. It has happened to me before.

I would negotiate where financial gain would be included. But as stated above, it depends on your contract with the agency.

Learning about typography on the web
@Crocodillon Noted. Thanks. I'm still puzzled by how a span element with font-size 50px (calculated value as the css is in ems) and line-height 1 can result in a height of 71px... yet the parent element ignores that 71px and treats the span…

Website redesign feedback/critique
It's hard to tell how the site looks on my screen compared to yours as it's an image. From what I see, the line-length might be a problem for readability.

Website redesign feedback/critique
Design is all subjective. No, it really isn't. But I won't get into that and hijack this thread. @jshjohnson I'd like to see this in a live version. It would be easier to discuss changes and see them quicker.

Website redesign feedback/critique
@siouxfan45 Design isn't about trends. I do agree the body type should be improved and there are white-space issues.
