  • Line-break before mark-tag in Opera

It's about Opera, not Chrome 12, Firefox 5, Safari 5 or IE 9

  • Conditional for IE9

Okay, I should have mentioned that the simplest way doesn't work out. There will remain two video-elements in the DOM then. The other one cannot be removed so easily. There will be no video neither in IE8 nor IE9 then.

  • Validation: It's your cross browser compatability friend!

Okay, I see. It is not against wellformed code or the validator itself, it is against the validator as a detection tool to figure out why a page is rendered falsely in a browser. @Falken After you tried do explain the world of markup to me you come…

No. Death to the Validator! Reasons: 1) Your advice is an advice everybody already knows. It's like waching up to the sky to know how the weather is. 2) W3C-Vadidator is often unable to analyze non-enclosing-tags with /> the ri…

  • [Solved] Right aligning an inline list

Gurt, there is indeed a solution with CSS to display the markup 1,2,3 as 3,2,1 for it for that special case that all list-items have the same length that is given by design and not by the length of the Link. That could be the case in breadcrumb navi…

  • Giving the html-element an id and a class

Thanks! I made a page and a css-file today. It works fine in the browsers. They treat it like a normal element. But the w3c-validator tells me, id's would not be allowed on the html-element in XHTML 1.0 Strict. On one hand: You can solve it by…

  • divs overlapping & Z-Index

  • Styleswitch by daytime

Yeah Rob I know, but it is not the same :) Honestly, I changed the if-condition from 6 to 1 for a preview. It worked goog last night, today it displays the night.css though it is 9:45 am. :( I have to revise my code.

  • Overhauled site, need feedback and sets of eyes!

Really nice headline! I know everything about fluffy clouds and these ones a good. One thing: You have two horizontal menues: 1. Webdesign ... 2. Home ... They are not aligning and have different sizes. I can see the reason but on first sight it fe…

It's really nice! Reduce the "Thinking of a Website for your Business?"-font-size a little bit. Theres is something wrong with the Sign-up und Explore-button. The typo is too big.
