Hi!
About a week ago I read about a program that would work just as Codekit, but for windows. I cannot find it in my Browser history nor do I remeber the name.
It had yet to be released. I have a faint memory of it's name starting with a M.
Other than that, I do not know what it was called.
Any ideas? :)
Nope, it wasn't fire or compass. I'm really close to buying compass, however it feels like a bit of waste if a free alternative is being released soon.
Thanks though!
The method I do for Windows is I use Scout and have that running in the background and code using Adobe Brackets which has a live css edit feature like CodeKit or when you use CodePen.
This may have been what you were looking for though. Live Reload has a Windows version, but it's in alpha testing right now so I don't exactly trust it just yet and the method I stated above works perfectly, and I actually like that the compiling program and live editor are different programs and run separately.
@jayism I didn't like it at all, honestly. But since I'm not a developer, that isn't saying much. I stumbled upon Prepos from another discussion and haven't looked back. Really enjoy using it.

It was not Scout nor was it Pretzel.
Thanks! //Will
Compass.app?
Another one is Scout. I use Fire.app. It is a little more expensive than Compass.app, but it has more features.

Is Codekit available for window
No, currently it is a OSX only app.
@codersafari Check http://lmgtfy.com/?q=codekit and read closely a tittle of the 1st found link.

(LiveReload works pretty good as a Chrome extension in combination with Compass.app.)
THAT'S IT! I just bought Compass.app though, hahah. But thank you heaps!
I've been waiting for the beta invite since Mike announced Mixture. Looks quite promising.
Aptana is another one. http://www.aptana.com/
Aptana is quite bulky, though. Reminds me of Dreamweaver.
I just received early access to http://mixture.io. Will let you know my thoughts about it.
