I love the design, but the choose your tone seems pretty pointless. It offers no functionality to your site, and thus is almost a waste of space. It makes the site look nice, so maybe just remove the text and the visitors will think it's part of the site until they click it.
I like it. It's very clean, and shows your projects very clearly. I second Odd_e on the top-bar. Maybe even maybe it a colour-picker icon instead of the text, so it can be understood as to what it is.
