Slightly off topic, but I've verified my email for CSS-tricks about six times now, and the little gray box at the bottom of the page telling me that I need to verify my email won't go away. Anyone having the same issue? Anyone know a way I can get rid of it?
I actually emailed Chris about this a while back. I'm sure he'll chime in, but he said they disabled the email verification for new accounts, but as for you and I, we're stuck with it unless we create new accounts.
Yea it is really odd because I can't see anything on your accounts that say you are un-validated or anything other than registered. I briefly spoke to Chris about this and yea he was gonna disable the email verification for now. :)
I spent some time trying to figure it out but I failed. I'll address it in redesign. Unfortunately it's something a small set of people are stuck with for a little bit.
Hey guys, I threw together a super simple (and rather pointless) Chrome extension that removes the registration box anytime you're at http://css-tricks.com/forums. Felt like learning how to make extensions, so the link is below.
