I also wanted the header to slide using the jQuery Cycle Plugin, I've spent a of time already trying to make the two plugins work but I can't seem make it work. Is there any other plugin that I should use instead of those 2?
I wanted to use the jQuery AnyStretch plugin (https://github.com/danmillar/jquery-anystretch) only because it's easy to use and really simple. I wanted to know how I can integrate it with the jQuery Cycle plugin.

shouldn't be so hard? just add some slider, (prefer the Nivo slider (google it!)). Make the width to 100% and what hight u desire. Then you have it.
