How to make icons like the ones in the top navigation on CSS-Tricks?

    I tried drawing my own icons pixel by pixel but failed and I don't think Chris drew those up there in the nav. There must be an easier way. Help...me!

    You need to use Adobe Ilustrator, you need to do it with vectors.
    When you buy icons most of the time they come in vector format, png, and some times in psd.
