Ive been working on a site. When i look at it on my pc local it runs and looks nice but I just launched it again with Justhost and it doesn't seem to line up? please help. Ron link www.ingaspark.com subfolder bbc
Actually your background image is showing up, but you have a div placed over it with another background image. How exactly do you want your site to look? Do you have a mockup image maybe?
If I were you the first thing I'd do is to get your code a little different. Your footer div for example could contain the facebook and twitter div. I also assume you want those 3 little image within your container div so put them in there. Give your wrap div the wooden-like background (or your body tag). Also a good idea might be to get your header (your site title and tagline in a separate div, so remove that from your background and make it a stand alone image. You can also make a div for your main content area and be sure to look closely what background attach to it, so it will look like the mockup you provided. At least, that's how I'd start - hope you know a little bit what I mean, if not, ask away :)
While you are working on some of the other stuff, definitely spend some time converting those images into smaller files. Many of them are 400k+ No matter what, those will have to come down in size.
@roncito I think @ChristopherBurton meant upload the movie.png to your site again as I suspect it's currently corrupted. Certainly Web Inspector is throwing an error for it.
Don't make those changes if you're just going to remove the absolute positioned elements. I think you should learn as to why they are throwing your layout off, first.
I switched the position to relative but still get nothing. looks good on local but not online? please take a look at new fiddle? also how do I upload pic to my server?
Locally when viewed on pc. Everything runs smooth. I see the images and I see the webpage the way that I would like it to appear on line but a few images are not showing up? Ill keep plugging away here. Ill also double to see if my images were uploaded properly. Thanks.
The reason it isn't showing up on jsfiddle is simply because you're apply the file path as if it were on jsfiddle.net. You need to specify the full url path.
Thanks for the comments. As I mentioned I'm learning and I know that its going to take some time and my intention is to do it by myself with the help of others. How do I specify the tags in the header? Thanks so much.
please help.

Question: Who is this site for, a client?
Also, I'd recommend using a stickyfooter. Right now it looks like you are using a top of 1320. http://css-tricks.com/snippets/css/sticky-footer/ is one method among a couple others.
Here's my upload of the pic.
