I finally have time off from my classes back in DC, yet I find myself struggling to find a good way to practice web design. I mean, most web designers, I'd imagine, easily get practice from jobs and assignments, but I do it for fun. What is the best way to approach 'practicing' web designs and flexing creativity? Like, is there a way to get better at making designs or perhaps learning how to code better without waiting for a site assignment?
Practicing web design is very important, just like practicing anything else. Practice makes perfect. Here is a great article that was written by Chris Coyier a while back. I have used the method for practice on several occasions.
