My Google Custom Search input field looks like this. Is there any way to get rid of the branding? I can do it via javascript, but I'm not sure what they allow, frown upon or dislike.
Does anyone know a 'legal' way to get rid of that? Chris's GCS doesn't have the branding, but I'm not sure if he pays for that or not.
it should be a image/bg image of some kind, you can examine it with firebug to get id and you can target it with your css. As for the legalities, read their terms of service that you agreed to. Although, legal or not, Google isn't going to waste their time suing you for anything.
