@zahidahmad9: Personally, I think it is highly recommended that you not add any music to your website. I always thought of it as sort of a deadly internet trope. It makes me think of MySpace.
as chris coyier has also done in a video screencast if you decide to go with a background music have your website be updated via AJAX . Restarting the song every 5-6 second every time a link is pressed wont do any good to you. A single page site would also work

I agree, if a website starts playing music I usually leave right away. Except if it's youtube.
Even YouTube should not start automatically.
