Best way to learn photoshop

It's all in the title really.
What is the best way to learn to use photoshop?
Books? Web tutorials etc?
Any advice would be great cheers

www.psdtuts.com
has some very nice tutorials, there are also many other sites around... I know alot of people would recommend lynda too. :)

Just looking and the tutorials site.
Looks good. Maybe a bit complex for me as I've never even switched photoshop on as yet.

I too recommend Lynda. I've learned just about everything from them, from PHP to Ruby, to Photoshop and After Effects. It makes the hefty price tag worth it.

I'll second psdtuts. There are a lot of sites like these on the web, just need to poke around to find them.
Has Lynda really changed in the past year, I had a free trial and I was not really impressed with what was available.
