My background is mostly in Web Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, WordPress, etc...) and Web Application Development (jQuery UI, AgilityJS, NodeJS).
While I definitely prefer NodeJS for server-side code, most Front End/UI Developer roles these days still require Java knowledge so I would like to get at least a small working knowledge of Java.
Anyone know a good resource for someone with a background like me to learn Java?
Hey guys.

Are you sure you don't mean JavaScript? : )
Google's From the Ground Up series is very good.
Sitepoint's Javascript Reference is also a great resource, but it is a reference, not a tutorial.
If you can follow it (even if you can't, really, as long as you can pay attention), read/watch anything Douglas Crockford says about javascript.
