I'm trying to work on securing all my sites and have taken several measures. Then I read that you should delete the readme.html file. I also see a wp-config-sample.php as well as wp-config.php.
Do I need the wp-config-sample.php anymore?
Don't need it. Deleting it or keeping it will not make a difference for the functionality or security of the site. I'd just get rid of it.
I like getting rid of it just for the sake of keeping my directory clean.
