Google Map Integration

    I've got a Google Maps showing on a page but I'm wanting to multiple things to the map. This is what is giving me the most headache. I want to have a "legend" that will turn on/off certain items based on a checkbox. (I have the checkbox built, just not sure what to do with javascript to allow the check/uncheck to show items.)

    Well I'm wanting to populate the map with different categories of items: sports arenas, administration buildings, etc. A good example of what I would like to do is Washington States Map. http://www.washington.edu/maps/#
